1. Can you share with us how growing up in Beacon Hill has influenced your artistic style?
Growing up in Beacon Hill has made me stronger as an artist because I have seen so much and experienced so much, not knowing what tomorrow is going to be because of violence and poverty. Music is how I express these experiences.
2. As a graduate of St. Catherine High School, how do you think your education has contributed to your success as an artist?
My education has contributed a lot because it has made me more aware of the industry and how to make the right decisions when it comes to business.
3. Tell us about the moment you first connected with Dillon Reid of Manatee Records. What was it about your lyrical bravado that caught his attention?
I met Dillon at a record shop in Spanish Town. I used to hang out and do freestyle in the shop, and that’s when Dillon saw me and rated me.
